Polykastro is located in N. Kilkis and is the gateway of Europe to the north, just 15 km from the FYROM border.
Another special geographical advantage is the small distance that separates it from Thessaloniki (only 50 km). It is a place with rich natural beauties as it is located on the eastern side of the river Axios river and near Mount Paiko, which satisfies even the most demanding travelers.
The city of Polykastro has a rich market, numerous restaurants and cafe-bars.

A very good place to stay for a holiday in Thassos!
This is a beautiful place because of the rooms themselves and the fact that it’s very close to the Centre. The personnel is nice and very welcoming. Highly recommend coming in this hotel and visiting Pachis Beach and Marble Beach. If you want you can even go around the island!

Nowhere else would I prefer to stay when enjoying my holiday than here at this hotel. The owners are doing their best to make you feel the most important person on earth. The rooms are cleaned every, special thanks for that!???? And for the record, I’v been coming back here for 10 years now!
Five stay plus
This accommodation is five star plus, run by Antigone and Herecles , the rooms are the best I have ever stayed in and certainly the beds are the most comfortable ones I have slept in in Greece. The family that run this are exceptionally friendly and the accommodation is highly recommended
